Escolhi o postal de publicidade da Amélie porque é o filme preferido da Julianne.

Hi Maria! Thank you so, so much for the Amèlie postcard. I've always wanted to receive one, so I'm so happy you sent this to me! =) I saw that you asked about homeschooling, hopefully I can answer your question... "Homeschooled" means that instead of attending a school, I do my studies at home. I'm not unable to attend school, my family and I just chose to do it a different way. This is my third year homeschooling. I was very unhappy with my education and the quality of US public schooling. I'm in a program now to get my high school diploma. I'm going to graduate early, then go to college. =) Homeschooling is becoming pretty popular here, and colleges have started to actively look for homeschoolers. I do my studies at home, and I have many people in my family who help me go over my assignments. Then I send them to my high school program and they give me credit for what I've done. I really love it because I can work at my own pace, and study subjects I really love. I have to study math, but I can also study philosophy. =) Right now I'm studying for a college-level psychology test. I'm in a theatre group with many of my friends and I volunteer three mornings a week in an elementary scho ol. So I'm certainly not lonely, friendless or bored. I think public schools work well for some kids, this is just what works best for me. =) I hope that answered your questions! Of course, many people homeschool for different reasons, and I can only speak for myself. Thank you so much for the great postcard! Julianne
